Royal Opera House
Transforming the Open Up initiative
THE ASK
Royal Opera House needed a brand new website to go along with their Open Up initiative - the revamp of the entire building to invite more people - opera aficionados and casual onlookers alike - inside the building and enjoy a little of the culture London has to offer
They asked our founder Edoardo to come in and lead a team of developers to completely transform their website into a contemporary, fast and sleek experience - in line with the philosophy behind the renovation of their historic building
Edoardo did an amazing job, building a fast, accessible and beautiful website on a modern tech stack, while managing and mentoring the front end team
Joe McFadden, CTO at Royal Opera House
DELIVERED
Edoardo led the development of the brand new website, mentored junior developers and was in charge of spearheading the latest technologies and make sure they delivered a smooth and fresh user experience
In collaboration with their designer of choice Aoife Doherty and CTO Joe McFadden, Edoardo worked tirelessly on the implementation of the cutting-edge designs and went through endless iterations in order to deliver the perfect match of looks and usability
The project was successfully completed in time for Open Up's grand opening and was met acclaim from board members, colleagues and the public
